Site Assessment and Survey

Before we make the installation, we will consult with you on the best location for a system installation. Every house has a different layout and must be assessed accordingly. We make sure the system will meet building codes.

This is also when we seal any openings and cracks in the foundation and install one way valve drain seals if necessary.

03

Testing and Diagnostics

We have high standards and expectations of our work. We will test the airflow underneath your foundation for getting the best results possible. We will advise you of our findings during the process. Our diagnostic measurement devices are top of the line with high precision and accuracy.

04

State of the Art Concrete Coring

We establish an access point through your foundation for the installation of the radon sub-slab depressurization system. Soil matter is removed.

We core holes in a single cylindrical unit, so the cut is uniform and smooth; preventing any odd shapes or breaks that could be caused by other methods of drilling. We have many years of experience in concrete drilling.

05

State of the Art fan size calculation

We have a specialized fan sizing system designed and tested by a NASA scientist. it will measure the airflow required for the correct sized mitigation fan. This will give you the best results for your radon system.

06

System build and Assembly

Because every house has a different layout and different obstacles, no system is the same. Our radon mitigation systems are custom built to your homes specific needs and your preference for aesthetics. You may have a preference for a pure white system design to have it looking clean and appealing when you show it to your guests.

07

Exhaust Options

We offer several different exhaust options. Aesthetics plays a key role in the system design. Example; one option is to have it exhaust straight out and another is to put a 45 degree bend on the exhaust and have it blow downward at an angle. All exhausts are fitted with a critter guard to prevent any animals from getting in.

08

Backdraft and leak testing

We conduct back draft testing and alert you if you may need to have CO2 detector in place for health and safety.

We make sure no radon leaks are present.

09

Post Mitigation Test

We conduct a short term post mitigation test to ensure the system is working. You will see a significant radon reduction within a few days of the installation.

We always recommend the home owner conduct a long term 91 day test during the heating season for a more accurate result.
